How to choose: SY-1231 vs SY-4096 vs SY-8640
Match by application: hospital/cabinet → SY-1231; edge half-width 1U stamp+OCXO+hardware time I/O → SY-4096; plant multi-port / dual supply → SY-8640.
Choose SY-1231 when hospital weak-current, industrial cabinets, or security need cabinet NTP—BeiDou+GPS, TCXO, Modbus / 1PPS / PULSE with a deliverable datasheet; guaranteed 3840 req/s. No IRIG, no OCXO.
Look to SY-4096 for factory/campus/BA edge cabinets needing half-width 1U hardware-stamped NTP, OCXO, and hardware time outputs (1PPS / IRIG-B / programmable pulse). Coming soon—not in-stock; do not treat “4096” as a measured client count.
Look to SY-8640 for power/metals plants needing separated mgmt/timing, multi-gigabit, or dual supply. Planned direction only until the shipping datasheet.
SY-4096 does not replace the SY-8640 multi-port flagship. When unsure, match the scenario then inquire.
